Fun, Fun, Fun...

Actually...
The take-off, and free-fall are from my first jump, but the landing is from my 5th jump. (We didn't take any video from the ground on the first jumps.) That's why I'm so casual when I walk by the camera.

First we took a 5 hour class, learning all about free-fall, and 'chute handling,, and safety stuff.

Then we jump out of an airplane from 14,000 feet. Two Instructors are holding on to make sure I don't tumble during the first free-fall. During the fall, I'm practicing grabbing the 'rip-cord' (actually, the pilot 'chute - the thing that opens the main canopy)

Once the 'chute opened, I was on my own for the landing.
